He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter D. Romans and Thursia Endicott Romans; his parents-in-law, Samuel and Emma Lea Bruce; his brothers-in-law, Allen Conley and William "Bill" Bruce; and his niece Cynthia Bruce.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy Bruce Romans; his nieces and nephews, Laural and Paul Arnaldo; his great-nephew James Reed; his siblings, Barbara Conley of Chillicothe, OH, Grady Romans (Iva) of Grove City, OH, Brenda Pickett (Barry) of Galloway, OH, Martha Profitt (Lenox) of Beckley, WV, Lloyd Romans of Statesville, NC and Rodney Romans (Regina) of Crum, WV; and his brother-in-law Larry Bruce (Sue) of Medart, FL. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews.
