She was predeceased by: her parents, Thelma Goddard and Clarence "Peabody" Rush; her husband Delbert Cales; and her nephew Dylan Davis. She is survived by: her close friend Donald Cochran; her children, OJ and Samantha Ratliff; her grandchildren, Otis, Alexis, Sophia, Anastasya, Kailynn Cales, Trysta, Auston, Brooklynn and Karrson McKenzie; and her sister Twila Davis.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Rainelle Chapel (283 Main St, Rainelle, WV 25962). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
