She was predeceased by: her husband James "Jim" McClung Crane; her son James H. Crane; her foster parents, Charles Sheppard and Verna Sheppard; her parents-in-law, James A and Winona Crane; and her sister-in-law Vivian Crane.
She is survived by: her daughter Brenda; her son-in-law Hubert Brooks; her grandchildren, Scott Brooks (Teresa Amick Hinton), Melissa Brooks and Stephanie Kunin (Wallace); her great grandchildren, Hannah Brooks and Jared Brooks; and also, Hannah and Bethany Hinton.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in Hilda's memory to Sewell Valley Baptist Church Youth Ministry – PO Box 784 Rainelle, WV 25962.
