He is survived by: his parent Nellie Rea Rice; his grandchildren, Rebecca DeHaven (Michael) of Hedgesville, WV and Caroline Thorne (Eric) of Troutville, VA.; his wife Lula; his daughters, Patricia Bryant (Wesley) of Greenwood, IN and Terri Reynolds (Mike) of Frankford, WV; his grandfather Joe; and his brother Darfow Rice of Covington, VA. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
