He was predeceased by: his parents, William G. McCartney and Dorothy Forinash McCartney; his wife Margaret Jane McKisic; his son Ronnie Lee McCartney; and his siblings, Cecil, Russel, Kermit, Weese McCartney, Opal Johns and Murl Walton.
He is survived by: his sister-in-law Joyce McCartney of Crawford, WV. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
