It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Edward Welch of Craigsville, West Virginia, born in Sutton, West Virginia, who passed away on November 3, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Newton and Bitha Ann Welch; his wife Carol; and his siblings, Shirley Pullens, Phyllis Minton, Bessie Thayer, Hazel Heater, Peggy Rogers, Jerry Welch and Bobby Welch.
He is survived by: his daughter Juanita Selman (Ed) of Craigsville; his grandchildren, Letha Mae Selman, Russell Selman and Alexis Dawn Selman; and his great grandchildren, Mason, Hayden, Lucas and Jensen. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
