He was predeceased by: his parents, Orlie McKinney and Rosa Johns McKinney; and his brother-in-law William Minnick. He is survived by: his wife Velda Bragg McKinney; his stepsons, Roger Dale Fleshman and Kenny Fleshman; his children, Jennifer McKinney Epperley (Michael) and Andrew McKinney; his siblings, Randall McKinney (Gaye) of Illinois, Jean Minnick of Michigan and Patricia Whitt (Jack) of Crab Orchard; and his nieces and nephews, Kevin McKinney (Mary), Bill Minnick, Jeff Minnick (Ruth), Jack Whitt Jr. (Lavada), Lisa Saunders (David) and Karen Jablonski (Glenn).
