She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Bragg and Ida Adkins Bragg; her husband James Canaday; her son Ernest Walter Canaday; her grandson Joshua Canaday; and her brothers, Walter Bragg and Carlos Adkins.
She is survived by: her children, Carles Canaday (Effie) of Crab Orchard and Ida McCoy; and her sister Norma Raines. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren.
