It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clara Kathleen Childs of Crab Orchard, West Virginia, born in Bozoo, West Virginia, who passed away on July 17, 2022, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, C. K. Bonham and Stella Wickline Bonham; her daughter Patricia Hall; her siblings, Helen Lytton, James, Kellis "Ted", Lawrence, Frankie, John and Everett Ray; her sons-in-law, Clarence Hall, Thomas McKinney and Leonard Moses; and her great-nephew Chad Ferris.
She is survived by: her children, Evelyn Moses of Crab Orchard, Blanche McKinney of Louisville, OH and Daniel "Bo" Childs (Carol) of Crab Orchard; her siblings, Nora Beatrice "Bobbie" Ferris (Gene), Ruth Peters (Wayne) and Don; and her brother-in-law James Lytton of Crab Orchard. She is also survived by her 8 grandchildren, 7 great- grandchildren and 1 great great-granddaughter.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Hospice of Southern WV.
