He was predeceased by: his father Buster Hampton; his grandparents, Jerry, Honnie Polk, Isaac and Rowena Hampton; and his siblings-in-law, Billy Collins, Robert Koger and Darlene Koger.
He is survived by: his wife Yuconda "Connie" Fitzpatrick Hampton; his children, Cassandra D. Tayloe (Robert) of King, NC, Buster "James" Hampton II (Melody) of Coal City, WV and Robert G. Hampton (Melissa) of Pageland, SC.; and his grandchildren, Avery L. Hammond III of King, NC, Brandon J. Hampton of Coal City, WV and Nick Hildreth of Pageland, SC.. He is also survived by Numerous nieces, cousins and nephew.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Bowers Hospice House of Southern WV at 454 Cranberry Dr, Beckley, WV 25801 in Jim's memory.
