Thelma Sims Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 2, 2022, at the age of 85, Thelma Sims of Cowen, West Virginia, born in Tioga, West Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Dempsey and Emma Dempsey (Culvert); her husband Junior Sims; and her siblings, Martha Knapp, Darrous Dempsey, Cora Selman, Robert Dempsey and Donzel Dempsey.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Ann Bragg (Glen), Brenda Ware (Rex), Helena Chaney and Robert Sims; and her sisters, Barbara Mathis, Mary Sims and Helen Carpenter. She is also survived by five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
