We are sad to announce that on December 1, 2023, at the age of 74, Roger Wayne Wilson of Cowen, West Virginia, born in Richwood, West Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert "Bob" Wilson and Vera "Madge" Johns Wilson; and his brother John Wilson. He is survived by: his children, Jeannie Fisher (Charlie) of Cowen and Robert Wilson (Jessie) of Craigsville; his siblings, Walter Wilson (Dorothy) of Florida, Randal Wilson (Connie) of Ohio, Mac Wilson of Webster Springs, Carol Mathes of Cowen and Patty Wilson of Cowen; his grandchildren, Valerie, Cheyenne, Nathan Fisher, Peyton, Raelynn and RJ Wilson; the mother of his children June Bennet; and his close friends, Mike Riffle and Kenny Hollandsworth.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to American Legion Post #62, POB 846, Cowen or the New Life Southern Baptist Church, 649 Erbacon Road, Cowen.
