He was predeceased by: his parents, Anna Clutter Bruffy and James Lawrence Bruffy of Parcoal, WV.. He is survived by: his wife Janice Steele Bruffy; his daughter Jennifer Sandifer (Mark); his grandchildren, Jordan, Julius and Jaden Sandifer; his daughter Alice Sheley (Chris); his grandchildren, Zachery and Wyatt Sheley; his son Robert Lawrence Bruffy, Jr. (Rhonda); and his siblings, Elaine McCoy (Doyle), Shirley Miller (David) and Nixon Bruffy. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
