With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janie Wright of Cowen, West Virginia, who passed away on November 18, 2024 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Bennett and Ruby Savage Bennett; her husband Herbert "Bus" Wright; her daughters, Terea "Terri" Robb and Karen Sue Wright; her grandchildren, Stacie Williams and Wes Wayne; and her siblings, Victor, Keith, Paul, Junior, Billy and Charolette.
She is survived by: her children, Nancy Wayne (Richard) of Upper Glade and Michael Wright (Tonia) of Jodie; her foster son Steve Myers (Lucy) of Cowen; her siblings, Fred Bennett of Locus Grove, VA and Phyllis Morrison of Port Clinton, OH; and her son-in-law Rick Robb (Janie). She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 3 foster grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Adams-Reed Funeral Home (7000 Webster Rd, Cowen, WV 26206). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
