She was predeceased by: her parents, Grafton Short and Callie O. Short (Williams); her daughter Tammy Marie Short; and her siblings, Virginia Dale Spence, Virgie Sill (Elmer) and Jimmy Lee Short (Dorothy).
She is survived by: her daughters, Brenda Kingdon (Ernie) of Sutton, Grace Ann Fowler (Dennis Akers) of Nettie and Cheryl Lough (Randy) of Upperglade; her grandchildren, Ernest Kingdon, Jr., Virginia Marie Crites (Tim), Chris Lough (Natasha), Hillary Short, Hannah Short, Carlie Short, Sierra Short, Summer Short, Raylea Lough and Heather Young (George); her great grandchildren, Trevor Crites, Bryson Crites, Nathaniel Canter, Haley Dawn Lough, Desiree Lough, Dylan Lough, Dakota Lough, Draven Lough, Addison Lough, Wyatt Grose, Dixie Collins and Huxley Chipps; her brothers, Edgar Short (Wanda) of Camden and Delmos Darrell Short (Marie) of Upperglade; and her brother-in-law Richard Spence of Cowen.
