He was predeceased by: his parents, Sally (Smith) and Eugene Diaz, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Shirley; his sons, Stephen, Kevin Sawyer (Lara Jones) and Sean Sawyer (Julie); his grandsons, Ryan, Izaiah and Nicholas Sawyer; and his stepgrandchildren, Christopher, Chase and Corinne Snider.
