He was predeceased by: his parents, Owen Bennett and Mildred Olive Bennett; and his son David Wayne Jr.. He is survived by: his daughter Donna Nulter (Douglas) of Cowen; his brother Robert "Bob" Wayne of Gassaway; his grandchildren, Tony Dodrill, Wesley Wayne, Michael Johnson Jr., Whitney Wayne, Sasha Hayes, Brandon Nulter and Alex Nulter; and his great grandchildren, Michael Spence, Amber Spence, Gracie Hayes, Everly McPherson, Owen Wayne, Weston Wayne, Addie Wayne, Zachary Nulter, Zoe Nulter, Madison Nulter, Levi Nulter, Jacob Nulter and Trinity Litton.
