It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Darrell Mitchel White (Cowen, West Virginia), born in Beckley, West Virginia, who passed away on March 12, 2023, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Delbert "Buss" White and Mamie Dunbar White; and his brothers, Leo White, Haral White, Romie White, Delmar White and Dale White.
He is survived by: his wife Betty; his daughters, Jessica White of Upper Glade, Jennifer Castle (Matthew) of St. Albans, Patricia Whitehair (Luke) of Glenville and Nancy White of Upper Glade; his siblings, Ronnie White (Melinda) of Bolair, Wilmer White of Upper Glade, Sissy Woods (Bill) of Cowen and Ed White of Upper Glade; his grandchildren, Emma, Sofia and Michael; and his close friends, Junior Hammons (Crystal) of Milton, Ricky Hammons (Mary) of Craigsville, Barbara Lewis (Johnnie) of Cowen and Youvone Lawson (Jimmy) of Craigsville.
