He was predeceased by: his parents, Nathan Harrison Jones and Madgie Ellen Roberts Jones; his sons, Darcey and Darrell Jr.; and his siblings, Fred Roberts, Gerald Jones of Upper Glade, Ferlie Jones of Cowen, Edith Wright of Cowen, Lillian Smith of Upper Glade, Barbara Bega of Virginia and Bethel Vance of Culloden.
He is survived by: his wife Judy; his daughters, Fonda Strader of Richwood, Jennifer Jones and Crystale Jones; and his grandsons, Cody Ramsey (Katelyn), David Ramsey and Ezra Strader. He is also survived by his kids, grand kids, and great grand kids.
