He was predeceased by: his fiancé Cristal Hanshaw. He is survived by: his parents, Francis Carpenter and Twila Sigman Carpenter; his children, Maddison Paige Carpenter and John Wesley Carpenter; his sister Kathy Christian (Thurman); his niece Megan Christian; and his half-brother Ronald Carpenter of Las Vegas. He is also survived by his aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
