He is survived by: his wife Arletta Williams Mathes; his children, Kalenn Nemoto (Lisa) of Summersville and Sara Mathes (Brian Griffith) of Beckley; his brother Jim Mathes (Liz) of Cowen; his grandchildren, Jaden Nemoto Huffman, Korey Nemoto, Gabriel Griffith and Laiken Griffith; his niece Lisa Fleming; and his nephew Jimmy Mathes.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Morris Funeral Home (160 Railroad Ave W, Cowen, WV 26206). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
