He is survived by: his children, Pamela Belcher (Eric) of Covel, Anita McBride (Terry) of Monroe County and Verland Donald Cecil, Jr. (Belinda) of Hickory Grove, SC; and his grandchildren, Madonna Jessie (Brandon) of Beckley, Kayla Canty (Patrick) of Summsville, MA, Brandon Belcher (Victoria) of Herndon Heights, Candace Belcher of Gardner Road, Christopher Cecil of Covel, Ashley Cecil, Aryn Cecil of Hickory Grove, SC and Landon Belcher.
The family encourages Red Cross blood donations as Verland required 12 units during his hospitalization.
