He is survived by: his wife Hazel Green Coomes; his children, Robin Coomes Thomas (Roy) of Ararat, VA, Michael Coomes (Rhonda) of Garwood, Ron Coomes (Denise) of Dallas, OR, Ronnie Coomes, Jr. of Covel and Jonathan Coomes (Susan) of Basin; his brothers, Jarl "Jimmy" Coomes (Rose) of Bluewell, Kenny "Terry" Coomes of Clarksville, Scotty Coomes (Helen) of Lashmeet and Jody Coomes (Donna) of Gray, TN; his sister-in-law Pam Coomes of Lashmeet; his grandchildren, Marina Hutchinson (Allen), Colton Coomes (Allison), Tyler Short (Karah), Maddie Carr, Ben Carr, McKenzie Coomes, Hunter Coomes, Zachary Scales and Presleigh Coomes; and his great grandchildren, Isla Hutchinson, Karston Hutchinson, Jordan Scales and Raiden Short.
