Carol Ann McKinney Obituary
We bid farewell to Carol Ann McKinney (Covel, West Virginia), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 30, 2025 at the age of 86. Carol touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clayton Ivory and Edith Leeomy Coffey; her former husband Curtis McKinney; her husband Buren McKinney; her children, Ronald Lee McKinney and Melanie Faith McKinney; her grandsons, William Curtis McKinney and Aaron Bradley Scott; and her siblings, Fredia McKinney, Linda Jolly, Jerry Coffey and James Edward Coffey.
She is survived by: her children, Michael McKinney (Cathy), Sherman McKinney (O'Lisa), Terri Scott (Steve), Tamela Keaton (Charlie) and Melissa Lusk (Bryan); her daughter-in-law Medina Richmond; her sister Peggy McIntyre; her grandchildren, Regina McKinney, Megan McKinney, Preston McKinney, Jody Horton, Ronnie McKinney, Andrew Scott (Annie), Lindsay Pack (Travis), Curt Lusk and Bradley Lusk; and her great grandchildren, Gabby, Nate, Xander, Louren, Elisa, Maggie, Josie, Reed, Noah, Lillie, Penelope, Conan, Jacob and Halie. She is also survived by extended family including nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Covel Missionary Baptist Church. A celebration of life was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
