She was predeceased by: her parents, William Basham and Daisy Mae McCoy Basham; her husband Warren "D. E." Benfield; her siblings, William Basham Jr., Irene Perdue, Donald Basham, Reva Cooper, Mary Collins and Frank Basham; and her grandson Richard Brogan.
She is survived by: her children, Connie Rose Snyder (Butch) of Daniels and Jeffrey Warren "Jeff" Benfield (Melissa St); her siblings, Gladys Harmon of Florida, Henry Kenneth Basham of Daniels and Freddie Allen Basham of Cool Ridge; her grandchildren, Chris Rose (Savannah) of Daniels, Jeffrey Benfield (April) of Daniels, Matt Benfield (Jesa) of Crab Orchard and Shawn Benfield (Ashley Meeks) of Beckley; and her great grandchildren, Annalee Benfield Harvey (David), Braedyn Benfield, Sophie Benfield, Rowan Benfield, Mason Benfield, Helena Benfield, Elija Lively and Bentley Rose.
