He was predeceased by: his parents, James Long and Atha Baker Long; and his siblings, Earle Long and Olive Barker. He is survived by: his wife Ella Richmond Stover Long; and his children, Dwight Long, Cathy Durham and Daniel Stover. He is also survived by four grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
