He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Lee and Susan Marie Adkins Dotson; and his siblings, Harlan Dotson, Billy Ray Dotson, Linda Harper and Helen Jackson.
He is survived by: his children, Howard Dotson III of Sylvester, Joe David Dotson of Campbells Creek, Debbie Coleman of Poca and Judy Dotson of Seng Creek; his siblings, Stoney Roger Dotson of Campbells Creek, Douglas Dotson of Comfort, Ricky Dotson of Nellis, Dorothy Thompson of West Lafayette, OH and Elizabeth Joyce Stringer of Nellis; and his half-siblings, Daisy Stamper of Cabin Creek and Jerry David Adkins of Pax.
