He was predeceased by: his father Sherman Thomas "Shag" Bruce. He is survived by: his children, John W. Bruce of Comfort and Samantha D. Bruce of Comfort; his mother Letha M. Johnson Bruce of Winifrede; and his sisters, Wilma Ashley of Comfort, Joy M. Wright (Robert) of Nellis, Karen S. DeLong of New Cumberland, WV and Diana K. Calatan of Winifrede, Many. He is also survived by Many Nieces and Nephews.
