It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eloise Cook Laymon of Comfort, West Virginia, who passed away on December 4, 2023, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husbands, Elmer Boyd Cook and John Quincy Laymon Jr.; her daughter Bette Wilhelm; her parents, George Davidson and Betty McGhee Davidson; her siblings, Lottie Roof, Mildred Adams, George, Harold and Boyd Davidson; and her grandson Derek Wilhelm.
She is survived by: her sons, Robert Cook of Bryan, TX and Bill (Sue Cook) of Comfort, WV; her grandchildren, Robert L. Cook II of Plano, TX, JasonWilhelm of Valparaiso, IN, Ashley Wilhelm of San Bernadino, CA, Travis Cook of Comfort and Jennifer Hess (Lee) of Charleston, WV; her great grandchildren, Robert L. Cook III, Ryan Q. Cook, Dalton, Tyler, Jonathon and Justin Wilhelm; and her great great grandchildren, Quincy and Quinlin Cook.
