It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Verna Fluharty of Colliers, West Virginia, born in Metz, West Virginia, who passed away on September 19, 2020, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Henry Hawkins and Martha Agnes Hawkins; her husband Lawrence Alfred Fluharty; her daughter Amanda Carolene Reed; and her siblings, Dixie, Walter, Pansey, George Sr., Wayne, Harold, Roy, Elizabeth and Marie.
She is survived by: her children, Donovan Lawrence Fluharty of Colliers, WV and Sandra Elaine Fluharty Summers of Colliers, WV; her grandchildren, Ronald, Kenneth (Tally), David, Michael (Candy), Richard (Lisa), Robert (Trisha), Paula (Anthony) and James; her great grandchildren, Sara, Rae, Logan, Kinsey, Tori, Leah, Emily, Jacob, Maggie, Conner, Alex, Lauren, Haley, Tyler and Mark; her great great grandchild Tegan; and her sister Violet Swearengen. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
