He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Dwayne Kirkpatrick and Jessie Yoho Kirkpatrick; his son Paul Kirkpatrick; and his siblings, Linda Huynh, Leroy Kirkpatrick and Larry Kirkpatrick.
He is survived by: his wife Frances Minger Kirkpatrick; his children, Pearl Zonker (George Dye), Jane Law (Thomas), Jennifer Foster (Michael), Lonnie H. Kirkpatrick, Jr. (Pamela) and Rickie Minger; his brother Donnie Kirkpatrick, Sr. (Donna); and his siblings-in-law, Sue Kirkpatrick and Thai Huynh. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren.
