He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Trader and Lula Trader (Butcher); his wife Esta Ramona Trader (Hurst); and his siblings, Johnny Trader, Mae, Velma, Irene, Pearl, Lucy and Leevy.

He is survived by: his children, Thomas Trader (Doris) of Paden City, WV and Kathy Clark of Follansbee, WV; his grandchildren, Thomas Trader Jr. (Miranda), Matthew Trader (Amanda), Chelsea Browning (Robert) and Heather Hancher (Eric); and his great grandchildren, Courtny, Aaron, Nathan, Violet and Remington.
