He is survived by: his wife Shirleen Smith (Gaston); his sons, William Smith (Katrina) of Morgantown, WV and Chet Smith (Melissa) of Slippery Rock, PA.; his daughter-in-law Jessica Smith of Amsterdam, OH; his grandchildren, Jared Smith (Delanie), Joshua Smith, Jessica Cottingham (Dakota) and Avery Smith; and his great grandchildren, Richard A. Smith and Leo La'Rece Cottingham.
