He was predeceased by: his parents, Martha Jane Bailey Emmert and Jacob Samuel Emmert of Filbert; and his siblings, Larry Emmert, Richard Emmert, Leon Emmert, Linda and Francis.
He is survived by: his children, Sabrina Fowler (Joe), Maryetta Rambo (Ebbie) of Bluefield, VA and Jacob Emmert (Serenna); his grandchildren, Hunter Lambert, Casey Shelton, Micah Brown, Hayden, Hazleigh, Hudson Rambo, Morgan, Dallas and Cierra Emmert; his great grandchildren, Tatum Farley, Kinley Shelton, Amelia Lambert and Thomas; and his siblings, J. C., Billy, Ernest and Connie Emmert.
