He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ann Jarrell Alger; his sons, Franklin Alger III of Coalwood and David Collins of Vivian; his siblings, Greg Alger of Coalwood, Sissy McLamb (Gary) of Coalwood and Patricia Osborne (Kevin) of Ohio; and his grandsons, Elijah Collins of Abingdon, VA, Ethan and Nick Collins of Vivian.
