He was predeceased by: his parent Earl Shelton; his sister Deborah Marek; and his daughter-in-law April Marek. He is survived by: his wife Rhonda Seabolt Marek; his mother Nancy Shelton of Davy, WV; his children, Mandy Bowles (Scott) of Statesville, NC, Marcus Marek of Coalwood, Matthew Marek of Indiana, Martin Marek (Mandy) of Coalwood, WV and Pam Bryant of Thomasville, NC; his grandchildren, Ethan, Katlyn, Dillon Marek, Reagan Bowles of Statesville, NC, Morgan Marek of Coalwood, WV and Kayden Marek; his siblings, Belinda Hamilton (Jim) of Welch, WV, Nancy Marek of Welch, WV, Susie Marek of Mt. Airy, NC, Ricky Shelton of Davy, WV and Earl Shelton (Jennifer) of Big Jenny, WV; and his parent-in-law William. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
