He was predeceased by: his parents, Oley Hatfield and Ruby Hatfield (Morgan); his wife Mary Katherine Hatfield; his siblings, James Hatfield (Simon), Jack Hatfield, Alonzo Hatfield (Fletch), Mary Lester and Eloise Hatfield; his son-in-law Tim Martin; his grandchild Taylor Martin; and his grandparents, David, Effie Morgan (Christian), Lewis (Luke) and Mary Hatfield (Davis).
He is survived by: his children, Judy Faulkner (Rick) of Asheboro, NC, Sheila Jewell (James) of Coal Mtn, WV, Keith Hatfield (Bobbie Joe) of Asheboro, NC and Brian Hatfield (Amanda) of High Point, NC; his grandchildren, Chris, Nick, Brayden, Mason Hatfield, Tyler Faulkner, Hannah, Jaime and Isaac Jewell; his great grandchildren, Luna and Grayson Hatfield; his siblings, Rondell Hatfield of Coal Mtn, Alvin Hatfield (Violet) of Brier Creek and Glenna Hatfield of Coal Mtn; his sisters-in-law, Linda Hatfield of Coal Mtn and Teresa Wallace of Coal Mtn; his close friends, Hub Morgan of Man, WV, Alvin Brooks of Archdale, NC, Jimmy Toler of Coal Mtn and Harry Trent of Hanover, WV; and his pet Katie. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and many other dear relatives and friends.
