He is survived by: his children, Those, Micah J Barrett Brown and Claire Elizabeth Brown of North Carolina; his brother Jere Brown (Paula) of Fairdale; his nieces and nephews, Kelsey Brown, Hannah Brown, Carson Brown, Nikki Reynolds (Kenny), Brianna Flippo (Steven), Nathan Hart, Caleb Hart (Alena) and Geoffrey Kincaid (Cheryl); his father-in-law Fred Hart Sr.; his brother-in-law Fred Hart Jr. (Shelley); and his aunt Cindy Shadd. He is also survived by several great nephews, great nieces, and cousins.
