It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Selma Marie Long of Coal City, West Virginia, who passed away on October 26, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Wood and Edith Hungate Wood; her husband Johnny Long; her brother Alfred D. Wood; and her grandsons, Michael Thomson and James Thomson.
She is survived by: her children, Patricia Carol Long Harrah of Coal City, Ronald Long (Cynthia) of Richlands, NC and Vicky Lynn Long of Coal City; her grandchildren, Scott Long (Amy Burnside), Kimberly Long and Melissa Dodson (Jerry Harris); and her great grandchildren, Chris Rife (Sabrina Totten), Cody Rife (Maria), Jonathon Rife, Tobias Long, Felicia Smallwood, Jessica Smallwood (Robert Fink), Chelsey Long, Tori Humphrey (C. J.) and Blake Thomson.
