He is survived by: his wife Betty Joyce Coalson; his son Lacy Earl Bolen Jr. (Susan) of Coal City; his granddaughter Vanessa Ann Mills; his great grandchildren, Aiden, Ian and Eli Mills; his siblings, Carlos Wayne Bolen (Retha) and Sadie Evelyn Hutchens; and his nieces and nephews, Dennis Hylton, Michael Bolen, Jackie Miller, Robert Miller, Barbara Bratcher, Patty Stella, Karen Lilly and Shelia Basham.
