It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Smith of Coal City, West Virginia, born in Alexandria, Virginia, who passed away on October 13, 2021, at the age of 52, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Kelly Smith and Nancy Jean Moore Smith; and his grandparents, William Howard Smith, Floretta Souder Smith of Beckley, Matthew "TaTa" Croftcheck and Thelma Haught Croftcheck of Uniontown, PA..
He is survived by: his sister Kelly Ann Smith of Beckley; his nephews, RJ Bragg of South Korea and Colby Bragg of Beckley; his great-nephews, Dominic and Mateo Bragg of South Korea; his aunt Cathy Taylor of Beckley; his cousin Tommy Moore; and the mother of his children Traci Lewis of Beckley.
