She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Church and Julia Hare Church; her brother Gene Church; and her niece Cynthia Piecara. She is survived by: her spouse Shumate; her daughter Dr. Jill E; her siblings, June Hatcher of Philadelphia, PA, Peggy Cook of Grandview and Danny Reed of Philadelphia, PA.; and her close friends, Donetta Grose, Jami Hylton, Tammy O'Dell, Angela Rollins and Pauline Davidson.
