It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Lewis Hawkins Sr. of Clendenin, West Virginia, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Otmer Hawkins and Dulcie Jane Thomas Hawkins; his wife Mary Bethel Lesher; and his siblings, Rosalee Stanley, Ruth, Jane Stanley, Denzile, Madgeline White, Velma Hayes, Ova and Paul.

He is survived by: his children, Randy William Hawkins, Sr. (Karen) of Greenville, SC, Kathy Ellen White (Jeff) of Lynchburg, VA and William Lewis Hawkins, Jr. (Sherry) of Lynchburg, VA.; his sisters, Sarah Lyons and Geraldine Isenhour; and his grandchildren, Erin Hunter, Randy Hawkins, Jr., Kyrie Troy, Mary White, Heather Bowen, Logan Hawkins and Anna Walker. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
