He was predeceased by: his parents, Isaac Shaffer and Phoebie Shaffer; and his sister Annie Blankenship. He is survived by: his siblings, William Shaffer, Isaac Shaffer Jr. of Tennessee, Billy Shaffer, Eddie Shaffer, Mary Hardman, Alice Shaffer, Rosie Shaffer and Martha Hardman. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends.
