She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Bird and Reba Abbott Bird; her husband Kester Boggess; her daughter Valerie Boggess; and her sisters, Anise Jennings and Susie Eldreth.
She is survived by: her children, Brian Boggess, Kenneth Boggess and Roberta Shock; and her brother Harry Wayne Bird. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
