He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Looney (Shafer); and his parents, George Looney and Laura Looney (McCune). He is survived by: his children, Douglas Looney (Tammy) and Sandra Elliott (Charles); and his grandchildren, Angela Miller (Darell), Lee Ann Burns (Christopher), Natasha Jett (Eric), Elisha Teel (Christopher), Brett Looney, Danny Looney (Nicole) and Dougie Looney. He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.
