He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Nichols and Lillie Drake Nichols; and his siblings, Harry, Arthur, William "Bill", Clarence and Iona Huffman.
He is survived by: his wife N. Joyce Raines Nichols; his children, Naomi Lilly, Ruth Shaffer and Mark Nichols (Sara); his grandchildren, Justin Lilly, Micah Lilly (Tiffany), Jacob and Malia Nichols; and his great grandchildren, Alex and Noah Lilly.
Due to the COVID-19 there will be no visitation.
