She was predeceased by: her parents, Ira Elvin Bryant and Maydo Mullins Bryant; her husband Elmer Hansel Barker; her daughters, Lisa Pierson and Victoria Hill; her granddaughter Casey Jo Barker; and her siblings, William Lee Bryant, Christy Bryant, Marshall Bryant, Thelma Evans, Laura Belcher, Lula Evans, Donna Dunlap, Betty Harmon and Tressie Belcher.

She is survived by: her sons, Steve Barker and Dewayne Barker. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren.
