He is survived by: his daughter Lynn; his son-in-law Jim Walker of Elkview; his son Greg Swiney of Clendenin; his grandchildren, Nathan Walker (Tamra) of Elkview, Mallory Young (David) of Cross Lanes, Bruce Swiney of Pittsburgh, P. A. and Jack Swiney of Morgantown; his great grandchildren, Alexandria, Ryann, Blair, Hayleigh, Xander and Jaxon; and his brother Joe Swiney of Cross Lanes.
