He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Strickland and Hettie Facemyer Strickland; and his granddaughter Shannon Strickland. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie June Strickland; his sons, Hubert Strickland (Dorene) of Elkview and Jerry Strickland of Elkview; his brother Jess Strickland (Linda); his grandson Todd Strickland (Paige); his great grandchild Poppy Strickland; and his pet Braxton.
